You’ve made it in life so why keep it hidden but when is pride just showing off? When do our dreams of grander start rubbing people the wrong way and cause them to resent us? For Joseph was given the dreams of conquest by G-D so why should he hide it from his brothers and father. Most don’t become annoyed by what is shown or told if it is done in the proper way. Before such bold announcements maybe a few words of modesty (below) would help soothe any bitter feelings. You may not completely soothe the jealous beast but hopeful it won’t attack you with a bite if you taken the blood out.
