In my leisure I want books that take me not only to a whole different world but one’s that take me to a different way of thinking. With characters that I can relate to in ways that I never would have known unless I read this or that page yet seemed so bizarre on page 1.  Maybe the books are hidden way where no one has seen them for years or maybe they are right in front of my Kindle with hardly a reader to look into them.  For my leisurely reading should not be leisurely at all but thought provoking so that I can gain a greater understanding of the world I live in today.

Kevin Hart shows how an apology should be made not with excuses but with true and honest reflection on yourself and your action.  It takes a brave person to make such a statement especially in the public light and we all can learn from it. The Jewish Holiday of Rosh Hashanah is upon us where individuals of the faith will seek forgiveness for there sins as well as those near us so that we all can be written by G-D in the book of life for health, happiness and success in the coming year.  May this blessing come upon all who truly seek forgiveness as well.

Whichever design is finally picked it should be built with love. Love for those who live between those boundaries and those that are entering. For the wall is meant to keep the bad elements out so good people of various ethnic background and religions can live in peace and prosperity. When individuals illegally enter our gates some come to do us harm whether it be through selling illicit drugs or even human slaves.  The rest of the individuals whom illegal enter our country might have good intentions for themselves and their families but keep salaries artificially lower for those that need the monies the most, hurt our social welfare network system and are often used by those with unscrupulous plans as they must hide in the shadows. A wall will be a permanent fixture that future administration with opposing values with the American people will have difficulty ripping down.  That is why this wall should be built with love for those that live in this nation and those that want to join our family legally.

Is talking about “boobs” offensive I guess it depends where, when and to whom network anchor you speak to?  When Clay Travis was speaking about his stance for the 1st amendment rights of individuals to speak their mind he injected this passion for boobs as well which led the anchor Brooke Baldwin to unstrap him from his mike.   Let’s face it this part of the anatomy does exist and makes an impression on one’s eye’s and probably other parts of the anatomy but does that give us the right to speak about them wherever we want?  If you’re in a doctor’s office and you have this equipment I’m sure it’s fine with everyone but at a formal discussion some might be offended by your honest thoughts. To be truthful I don’t possess those items but can fully understand how I woman might feel more as an object that a full person when the comments can become too large of a talking point. Large as in not size but um major part of a conversation.  This comment will probably give Clay a stint on the Howard Stern show and allow Brooke Baldwin to boost her ratings on CNN so I wonder if this offense will truly hurt anyone.  Unlike the original offensive comments that were the subject of this conversation which defamed all those hard working public servants who work in the White House.

I’ve become a bit more traditional in my less young years but the Tefillin act is not one in my daily/weekly occurrence… unless I’m asked and helped.  It’s a tradition that I find a bit confusing with where to wrap this way or that way and then the finger oh vey but if it means much to my traditional brother for me to share is the ritual who am I to refuse?  Yet many a man of the Jewish cloth will turn away their observant brethren  and I ask why? If done by a professional it only takes a few minutes of your time and if it could make this world or even the one doing this exercise a bit happy then it’s worth the wrap.  It may not normal occur in my daily routines  but when was the last time I held real leather anyway.  So give your traditional brothers their due and take a wrap if they ask if nothing else occurs at least you’ll make another’s day a bit more meaningful maybe even yours.
