NY Times page 28 Wednesday June 21st- After a nail biter that came down to the wire (recounts and legal challenges continue) it appears that Karen Handel has just beaten Jon Ossoff 52-48 in this heavily Georgia Republican District. All Republican’s must be deeply concerned with how close this race was as they enter the next congressional contest. This race was so close even after Mr. Ossoff’s poorly run campaign and you have to wonder whether the Republican Party will stand with President Trumps agenda after such a close election. More News to follow … maybe.
Whatever…. trump barely won the district in 2016. Nothing has changed except dems have less money and power.
It’s amazing how a story can be told differently or w more spaces in between if the results don’t match their outcome.
