I dare you Trump haters to find something wrong with what I’m about to write. It’s going to irk you so badly but for one minute of your life you are going to have to appreciate that Donald Trump is President and dare I even say above that your love of your life Hillary Clinton, is not. For Donald Trump has agreed to give his first quarter salary to the National Park Service, monies that would never have gone to this service if Donald Trump didn’t live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  That’s right all your green tree’s that help lower the Carbon Monoxide emissions as well as your clean rivers are being rescued by the President that you hate. Thank you for not hating for at least this one minute.

I have no clue if North Carolina is going to win the NCAA championship but I’d like them to and so in my dreams they will win.  For my eyes will be way closed way before the last shot is made and I figure I got a 50/50 chance anyway.  So let me glory in their victory till tomorrow morning when the supposed truth is revealed to me or better yet I’ll just ignore the fake news (if they lose) and congratulate the North Carolina Tar Heels tonight for a great victory… at least in my head.

If the Democrats go through with their filibuster or Neil Gorsuch they will overplay their hands so badly that even MSNBC & CNN won’t be able to put them back together for 2018. Here’s how I see this totally unraveling on the Democrats.

(1) The Republican’s will move to have a Nuclear Option with all Supreme Court candidates making the Democrats voice become less visible and Gorsuch will be confirmed.

(2) President Trump will have a big win with a majority of American’s supporting his nominee.

(3) Within 2 years there is a good likelihood that another Supreme Court Justice will leave the bench and the Trump Administration can pick someone who is more to the right of Gorsuch without any fear of the Democrats.

(4) Serious matters will come up and the crying wolf voice of the Democrats won’t be heard because they’ve cried too much before.

(5) This vote will hurt even the moderate Democrats that support Gorsuch in the end because they will labeled with the “no party”.

(6) They will insure there is no room for compromise even when it comes to competence and will have a difficult time having any say in the halls of power for many years to come.

To conclude the Democrats should attempt a  filibuster but make some deal at the last minute that has them save grace not only today but for the future of their power.

Yesterday was some opening day but today is MET’S OPENING DAY! I guess  you might say I’m a bit biased to my beloved Met’s and their opening day but just a bit I didn’t come with any makeup (see above).  There is a baseball and then there are the Met’s, a team I grew up watching with all my family on this side of the aisle as well.  An aisle we often don’t sit together on.  So here’s to a beginning of a new year of baseball … LET’S GO  M-E-T-S.

It appears that those who love Bill O’Reilly will denigrate those who brought such a lawsuit while those who loath him have already found him guilty so I believe it’s important to come up with some objective facts to consider (below).  Some will make one group happy the others facts will make the other group happy but unless you’re actually Bill O’Reilly or the accused let’s not pre-convinct or pre-exonarate before Mr. O’Reilly even raises his hand.

(1) Large lawsuits usually are meant to force the hand of the defender to settle before a trial.

(2) Bill O’Reilly has not had a perfectly clean record and has settled a case in the past.

(3) What kind of sexual harassment causes injuries in the millions of dollars.

(4) A person is not guilty or innocent of a crime until all the facts are present.

(5) When a person moves to the top and gets what they want no is often not heard.

(6) There are many from the opposite side of the political aisle that would stoop to any level to hurt their opponents even lie and make events up.

(7) Many seek their 15 seconds of fame anyway they can.

(8) It can be very painful for a woman to bring a sexual harassment lawsuit against a man in power and have her own personal life exposed to the media.

(9) You must have a cause of action before bringing any such action.

If you are in a certain group you must comply with the group think. For you are not an individual but part of the group that those in business world and political world want to insure think as one  How can they make sure you in your group buy the same product or vote for the same party leader if individual minds were to seep through such a group? That is why African American’s must vote Democratic, listen to hip hop, wear certain fashions etc and Caucasians must follow their roles. That is unless you dare to buck the trend and decide I will not fall off this cliff.  I’m not just part of one group but have individual characteristics in many.  As for me I support the President but am strongly against some of his policies, enjoy all different forms of music even one’s that appear opposite to my  philosophy and will not be put in any box but a circle that expands on how the world looks to me.

Have you ever real got out of your box and explored a whole new world that might not be as comfortable as the one your in?  Recently I did as I was the only non Orthodox person to attend my friends Hasidic wedding. Yes I felt a bit uncomfortable at first for their customs are a bit distinct from mine even to the point of attire (it would be fun to wear a fur hat at least for the day…in the winter) but it was also quite beautiful. They may play to a violin while the rest of us play to the drums yet  one characteristics holds us all together , “Love”.   For when we step out of our box and look around we often find that the world outside might have new colors and sounds but has the same love, happiness, hope, and health that holds our four walls together no matter where we go

I have played the role of the prankster and the one who has been pranked on many a times but here are the two I still remember as if it was yesterday which was April 1st was.

1. PRANKED ON – My friends came up to me and said they saw a UFO which of course I didn’t believe them yet as more friends told the story I started to believe. Then the picture of the UFO and the little alien convinced me it couldn’t be a prank until they showed me the album cover that this pictures was taken of.

2. PRANKSTER- A friend would try to convince another friend that my father was a world class sprinter and to ask me how fast my father did the 50 yard dash.  As the friend approached me and asked the question I would explode with anger/fake tears and say my father has no legs.   Thank G-D my father has and continues to have  legs so my prank was extremely cruel but at the moment extremely funny.

It’s my day and I intend to keep it busy as a Beaver. Here are just a few of the items I hope to check off before my day is done.

(1) Write a few blog pieces

(2) Go to the Gym

(3) Meet w a business associate to discuss his plans and if those plans should include me and my family.

(4) Get a haircut

(5) Buy household items including food & underarm deodorant

(6) Make my Oatmeal for the week

(7) Figure out how Swapalease works and determine if it’s right for me.

(8) Get my car washed

(9) Find a few pairs of socks to wear in the upcoming week.

You may wonder what is the common thread between whether David Spade is dating Naye Rivera and the Morman leadership encouraging more Baptism of the dead as well as how this thread can continue on whether  George Takei is seriously considering running for Congress but don’t worry I will find that thread somewhere.  For let’s assume David Spade is dating Naye Rivera and they’re concerned that their relationship might encounter problems for David Spade’s grandfather wasn’t properly baptized when he was alive well then he can go to his local Morman Church and see that this is done. This baptism could then be certified if George Takei as Congressman who votes on legislation approving of such procedures.   By the way if you want to baptize when I move to the great beyond that’s fine with me I won’t be here to complain anyway and if I’m still here I’ll probably be in Naye Rivera’s body anyway.
