I’m attending my 3rd Annual AIPAC (American Israel Political Action Committee) conference in Washington D.C. and here are some of the hi-lights from the 1st night (below). My computer is being obnoxious and not letting me show you any pictures for now so you’ll have to believe what I write.
(1) 1000’s perform Havdalah Services together- Havdalah concludes the end of a traditional Shabbos observance and combines all 5 senses in this ritual. We missed the taste because hard to pass a glass of wine to thousands of people.
(3) IN OUR HANDS- Trailer/Interview- Gordon Robertson from CBN (Christian Broadcast Network) discussed the making of this fine film that tells the story of the war to liberate Jerusalem for all the world’s faiths from Jordanian control. In less then 12 hours a plan was made to launch this battle. Many at this time describe this victory as a miracle not only to retain Jerusalem but also that Israel survived this war.
(3) OZ PERLMAN- A world renowned mentalist performed his incredible feats that astonished all in attendance.
(4) METRO STATION- Was a bit slower then NYC subway. If I attend this conference in the future I think I’ll stay in DC.
