If we save one life we’ve saved the world and with the following draft legislation (below) G-D willing we will save many. What also makes this legislation so powerful is it stays in the hands of those that truly care the parents and with the advise and consultation of experts in the field.
Whereas preventable tragic accidents have occurred and continue to occur we propose the following solutions to step this epidemic before another life is permanently damaged or G-D forbid lost.
(1) Training & Certification for Child House Safety Experts will occur. Once certified these individuals would be able to secure a house to prevent tragedy accidents, provide the resources to insure that it is safe, and/or notify parents the dangerous spots that they should try to keep their children away. (2) A List of those certified experts with contact information will be provided to those who deal with expectant mothers & fathers (OBY Doctors, Gynecologist, Baby Suppliers etc)
(3) These companies and professionals would be required to provide this list to their clients and/or customers without liability due to waiver clause.
(4) Safety type supplies should be easily accessible to potential customers at all stores that deal with furniture or equipment that could be near children. This would be determined by discussions with stores on how best this would occur for all interested parties.
(5) Working with Insurance companies certified safety houses should have those living in them receive a discount on their home owners and/or health insurance to create an incentive for such work
(6) A non-profit group will be formed to help those who don’t have the funds to insure their house/apartment is safe.
