Something worse then death has followed the telling of this story a sense of fear that leaves two of my friend’s and a therapist paralyzed in complete terror! Yet it must be told or other victims will die! So I will only start this story in order to see if someone else out there can help fill in the blanks. For if my mind forgets the details who knows the peril it will leave. I believe by writing this story instead of saying it aloud that maybe just maybe the evil spirits will not haunt those reading it.
It was a dark rainy night and I was in a rush to get home always rushing, if only I had those moments back. For out of know-where a squirrel ran across the road and as I slammed on the breaks to avoid it I heard the dreaded sound of it’s body crushing against my tires. It was too late for the squirrel and my car as I smashed into a tree. I pulled myself out of the car as my lights shone on “Spook Rock Road”. It might seem bizarre to you but at that moment I had to bury this squirrel it is just who I am. So I grabbed a plastic bag in my car and used my cell phone light to try and find the squirrels body. It appeared to be further into the woods. As I walked just a few feet I heard a horrific scream that sent chills running down my very soul. I had to do something so I ran toward the screaming and as I ran deeper into the woods it stopped! My cell phone light was dying and I was lost, cold and freaked out. That’s when I saw those piercing eye’s! It was…. I can’t go on farther tonight … I just can’t! PLEASE, PLEASE IS THERE ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE!

JIM- I can’t believe this but while I was out fetching a pint of Ben and Jerry for my pregnant wife in the pouring rain on that exact same road, I came upon what appeared to be that single-car accident mentioned earlier. As soon as I saw the wreck, I pulled my car off to the side, turned on the emergency flashers and walked up the dark road to the other vehicle. I discovered that the engine was still running however the driver was nowhere to be found. I called out “anyone here needing help?” and waited but there was no response. I wondered if the driver might have gotten a concussion or worse and had wandered off into the woods and collapsed, so I thought it best to follow my instincts and try to help. As I walked through the dense brush, I sensed something strange as if someone or something were following me. Again, I called out, “Hello? Hello??? If the person who had the car accident and hit the tree can hear me, please say something, I’m here to help.” That’s when I turned and saw those horrifying eyes! “What the hell!” I said aloud. That’s when I ran back to my car, hopped in and drove off in a panic. Suddenly, my car beams shone upon a raccoon running out into the road directly in my path. As I swerved to avoid it, I too crashed into a tree. That’s when I saw those horrible eyes peering in through my passenger side window and … … …
