I should have saved all those pictures of challenging times with my children and have them played 24/7 so that when they got to be this age they could some what understand how much nicer they should be to me today. All those diaper changes, crying nights, trips back and forth to find that lost Teddy/blanket and it all ended with whimpers today of huffing and puffing as if they were trying out for the Big Bad Wolf. Simple friendly questions which used to bring smiles from them now are acts of an FBI Interrogator trying to catch them in a Hillary. You might wonder why us parents suffer such abuse from our “loved one” it is because their tears might have changed to yells and “whatever” but our love is unconditional and that little smile/hug makes it all worthwhile no matter what their age.
