As I went to my Gastrologist yesterday other then my health another question stayed in my mind “Why Doctor, why?” A doctor will spend endless hours of studying his/her craft only to have to look at this part of the body everyday of the week. Don’t get me wrong I’m grateful that individualist have chosen the field of Gastrologist, Proctologist, and Urologist but I’m just curious why they didn’t stay with a standard MD or more specialist Cardiologist? What attracted them to work with this part of the body for the rest of their life? Maybe the pay and/or opportunities are better but there must be another reason that I’m missing. PLEASE HELP ME FIND THAT PUZZLE PIECE THAT IS MISSING FROM THIS EQUATION?
