Spoken

SpeakingFox News Presidential Debate

Sometimes it’s not what is said which is important but how it is spoken and the Presidential Debates is a perfect example of these factors.  Those candidates who have just the right of the following qualities (below)  appear to be the one’s moving up the ladder while those with great words in the wrong bodies appear to be falling down. We want someone who speaks to us in a way that is pleasant to the eye as well as the ear.

AUTHENTIC- A person who appears to be speaking from their heart instead of prepared notes that have been measured and reviewed is coming through on the television screen. Donald Trump continues to win this battle as does Bernie Sanders on the Democratic side.

HAND & BODY GESTURES- Governor Kasich will show you how you can overdue the gestures while Governor Bush will show you how to appear stiff.

DRAMATIC PAUSE- Nobody is better then Senator Ted Cruz on this stage. It appears if his Presidential plans don’t turn out right he should get a Hollywood Star.

EMOTION- Senator Marco Rubio has the charisma that draws even his most ardent critic in if only for those moments.

SMILE- This is probably the toughest skill to acquire because it must be somewhat authentic but still spontaneous.  My friend Carly Fiorina is still trying to home on this skill as well as Ben Carson.

SCALE- Those with the Y chromosome that appear to have the X chromosome at certain points in their speech will lose the appeal of the audience. In other words it is important to understand how to emphasize  certain words and phrases without breaking a mirror.
