Costume Ball for Texas Museum cancelled

Williamson Museum

The ball might have been formulated without thinking of the P.C Police or might truly be in bad taste but either way it will be cancelled/modified.  For the comparison to a “Slaver’s Plantation Party” whether there is even a ounce of truth is too much for any institution to handle.  “Mickie Ross, the museum executive director says that we are just telling the story of the people who lived here during the civil war but he will be singing the apology song instead.  They’ll change the theme to some P.C. corrected one or cancel it all together for fear of protest/violence and you can take this to the bank before the day is done.
