As I listened to a story told on NPR about a man who ignored the plight of a desperate child I realized that if he took the right stand in the beginning the story would have ended but would it have been as compelling? Why does it appear to be more interesting to follow those that have done wrong then those who have done right and lived a peaceful happy life? Could it be that envy hits our heart or are we just looking for someone’s misery to bring us up in our life’s ? As one who sees the cup half full I believe it’s because we want to see those less fortunate redeemed. It is if we want to see every crying angel have their day in flight even it that day comes with wings that were shattered along the way.
