I hope this column won’t get me excommunicated from the Jewish faith but I love to listen to Joel Olsteen in the morning. Me and Mr. Olsteen’s belief on Jesus tend to differ but his positive outlook to life is something that inspires me to be a better more positive person. The truth is I can’t find a rabbi on the radio dial even on Sirrus/XM that is available with such a message at 6:30 AM and sometimes when I sit through traffic and road rage, that is the message I need to keep me steering me away from through this hell. Joel Olsteen’s positive way of looking at life and funny pokes at his own life truly make me a better person and as such a better Jew.
