If I could give up one bodily function and not effect my general health it would probably be….. sleeping? It’s a difficult choice because sometimes my greatest creative moments can occur when I sleep but the truth is no matter how much I might sleep I still feel tired when I wake up. Sleeping also brings back painful memories and sends me to horrific places, which upon my awakening hours does give me something to be grateful for. Yet if I was to give up sleep I might also give up some of those dreams that take me to a place that I wouldn’t allow myself to go in my conscious mind. So giving up sleep would be difficult choice but the hours I would have in my wake mind, while others slept, would give me an advantage that would make me a more successful person or at least catch up with all the “Twilight Zone” episodes. What do you think?
