PERSONAL DIARY 5-31-15

As I drove through different sections of NYC it was if I was traveling to different countries from China to Israel at least that is the way I tried to make this experience feel like.  For I spent hours on the road where the down pour in between was blinding and traffic appeared endless, so I tried to absorb the world in-between.

FUNERAL-   As I Kohanim I learned that I was unable to attend a Jewish Funeral service but could listen to the proceeding outside. It was less emotional hearing the service but not witnessing it directly from the speakers above. It was sad to see the experience of one’s life cut short not just by their death but the funeral directory who tried to keep it running as if it was a fast food store.  I also found it interesting how some people would use their time (most of the time) eulogizing this individual to speak about themselves while others brought the greater world into the picture.

CHINESE FOOD & RAIN- I don’t know why but rainy or cold weather is the best time to experience Chinese food.
