I thought I’d catch up with a few episodes of “The House of Cards” but as the internet went down the darkness drew me in. It was not just dark but silent in the woods behind my house and the only protection I had was my two miniature dogs. Every sound was amplified as I walked the silent path through the woods with my brave hounds pulling me back to the house as a greater force was pulling me deeper into the woods. Scenes of horror movies unwritten dangled in my head as I pictured something grabbing me (never the dogs) when I or anyone else would least expect it to! Fear comes in many forms but deep in the dark silent woods is where my creative mind fully sees it ripen to true terror!
COINCIDENCE OR SIGN? Within c. a minute of writing this blog I stumbled along a line in the book I’m reading concerning darkness in the woods.
