WALL STREET JOURNAL 2

I want to share with my blog readers the stories that need to be heard for this week of 4/11/15 and why I believe that is so.

(1) Former Governor O’ Malley is building his Democratic challenge to Hillary Clinton in Iowa. I remember in 2008 when the media elite last told us Hillary Clinton would be the shoe in. I guess President Obama had a pair of sneakers.

(2) Afghan troops have failed to secure the south from the Taliban. This is another failure in our middle east policy that G-D forbid might come back to bite us.  Let’s not worry about sending our troops home till their mission is truly accomplished.

(3) Iraqi’s that have sacrificed their lives in defending our troops, during Operation Enduring Freedom have been left behind, while they face retribution at home. These brave men and woman were keys in providing our troops intelligence and translating significant information and leaving them behind today can endanger our troops in future operations, as intelligence sources run dry.

(4) There is a new play on Broadway that deals with the lives and time of President Hamilton.  This gives me a reason to go to a Broadway show again.

(5) Butterfly is a restaurant in NYC that deals with Midwestern food.  I never knew this was a new food category.

(6)  Unique Investments offer greater rewards but also greater risks they include:

(a) Peer to Peer Lending –  Lending Club & Prosper are to services that provide this service to investors and those that need such loans.

(b) Farmland Investing can be found through Gladstone Land, Farmland Partners.

(c) Investments in real estate rentals can be found through REIT’S such as American Home Rentals.

(7) What taste good can actually be good for you and your diet (as long as it’s natural) according to this column.

(8) New games that are based on people working together to achieve a goal such as “Pandemic” are becoming increasingly popular.
