Every horror movie ends with the ultimate penalty death to the victim but what if the “evil one” forced you to live instead. Are there examples where a “sadistic person” would keep you alive instead of allowing you to “rest in peace”? Would this be a twist that would draw viewers to the screen or be so horrible they would turn away? Of course we might trade our death instead of the death of a loved one or be willing to sacrifice our life if we were in continuous pain and fear but would this be to horrific to watch?
