Wall Street Journal Review- Weekend of Oct 11th

It’s amazing the type of information you absorb when truly taking the time to read the paper. The problem is once you’ve absorbed this information it appears to seep out into the atmosphere. Here are some of the stories I hope to keep it in my head.

(1) President Obama is still trying to close Gitmo even while fighting major terrorist operations in Iraq and Syria. The White House staff has said he might do this unilateral if he doesn’t get what he wants from Congress.

(2) Qatar continues to support Islamic Terrorist groups as it also helps the U.S to launch attacks against ISIS. Saudi Arabia, Israel and Jordan are worried by the close relationship Qatar and the U.S government have while this terrorist funding continues.

(3) Lawsuits challenging voting rules should be decided by the courts before the 2014 elections occur. It is difficult to see which way the court will go in this rulings seeing that it has made recent decisions supporting  both sides.

(4) The U.S. stock market is now in negative territory for the 2014 session.

(5) Russia’s  “Rock Star” Andrei Makarevich is now blacklisted by the government cronies because he is less then enthusiastic for Russia’s moves into the Ukraine.

(6) North Korean Leader Kim Jung Um has not been seen for weeks leading many to wonder if he’s still in charge of this tyrannical  regime.

(7)Britain’s Independent Party ,which wants a break from the E.U. , has done remarkable well in the last election.

(8) Many wealthy Russians are moving their monies into U.S. currency.

(9)One of the wealthiest Palestinian families lost a great deal of money in one day after Israel retaliation against Hamas terrorist attacks.

(10) Political prosecution are being utilized to silence citizens who support certain conservative candidates according to a piece written by Messrs Rivkin.

(11)Peggy Noonan utilized sensible arguments in favor of closing airport flights from Ebola infected  countries like Liberia and Siera Leon.

(12) Richard Gere analysis of what it’s like to be Homeless in the movie “Time Out of Mind”

(13) Artic Apple is a new apple that won’t brown which needs to be approved by the FDA since it’s genetically modified.

(14) Robert Schiller noted Finance Professor an Noble Prize winner is still staying in the stock market. Mr. Schiller believes not only the  stocks  must decline but the attitude as a whole for us to truly enter a bear market.

(15) AIG Bailout is on trail as the firm claims that their penalty was excessive

(16) Nielson’s technical glitches have incorrectly affected the most recent T.V ratings for various show.

(17) Tesla is building a hands free care for the highway for 2015 and plans to introduce a car that parks on it’s own shortly after.

(18) Peru utilizes Capitalism to destroy terrorist elements in their country which could be implemented in the Middle East claims Mr. De Soto and I couldn’t agree more.

(19) Their are incredible benefits to music training that far out last the classes these students take.
