Could a sports team really be cursed? For a while many Red Sox believed that to be the case but then they won the World Series and that curse seemed to disappear, or did it just move to a different team? Many people who root for a losing team believe in someway that this is the case but after watching the Jets last night I believe a few more of their fans should be attending a house of worship before the game. Maybe it’s the way they treated Tim Teebow and Pennington that has brought it on or maybe their plane just can’t find a place to land but there’s no denying something strange is going on.
Last year I boycotted the Jet’s because of the way they treated Tim Teebow, now that I’m backing they break my heart again. The Jet’s had a touchdown pass that was called back, because of a timeout from an offensive coach a second before the catch was made and then an interception that was almost guaranteed to put them back in the game, was called back by an extra foot or two on the field. It could be me, maybe I shouldn’t be allowed to watch the game or should watch it upside down or wearing only blue. I have a solution, next week all Jet’s fan’s should cheer for the Patriots if they lose then we know it’s us if they win well at least we can have a victory in our pocket.
