Time stands still

clock break

Sometimes it’s time to throw out the swatch and leave the Smart Phone thinking. When you give yourself a moment or hour(s) not looking at when to begin or when to end? What might seem like a tense exercise can be quite liberating because you’ll actually eat when you’re hungry and go to sleep when you’re tired instead of saying it’s lunch  time and bedtime. Most importantly you’ll experience a time for your mind to really see things in a different perspective.

I experienced this moment when on a lake and it only occurred because I gave up a watch awhile ago and my Smartphone doesn’t swim. It was remarkable how much more I was able to absorb around me when I didn’t have time holding me back. My creative thoughts took me in a direction that I wouldn’t have dreamed about if there was a clock right around the corner. I also noticed that although I stayed out for a fair amount of time it didn’t set me back as far as I thought. In conclusion this might not be the most productive time of your day but on just the right occasion it might help start that engine so that you can be more successful when back under that watch.
