Dog Intelligence

YES THAT’S MY DOG ACCEPT THE OPPOSITE SIDE IS ON THE PAPER

As I looked at my puppy I wondered how would I truly know if this dog was a genius? Dogs lack the physical characteristics of humans so they can’t communicate as we could whether it be through voice or sign language (it’s difficulty to perform sign with a paw) so these measurements are impractical.  I have not attempted to teach my dog any of the real skills that a human has so how would I know if they could truly achieve these abilities? Could a person be reincarnated in a dog’s body or could a dog be reincarnated so that they can learn better the 2nd time around?

This blog might appear very silly since we know that dogs don’t have human intelligence (just look at what they are sniffing) but truly how do we know how intelligent they are and more importantly how far is their learning curve? Is it worth continuing educational training to see how far their abilities will take them or would we be over training them and not truly allowing them to actually “be a dog”.   PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS.
