Romantic movies make it seem like Prince Charming or Princess Charmer are eventually going to sweep you off your feet and life will be like a bowl of cherries but trust me there are many pits that will come up. The truth is if you find this incredible beautiful person one day they’ll wake up with their hair messed up or they’ll flatuate in a crowd and their beauty will start to disappear like a cloud. As this beautiful person gets older lines will appear and breast will sag while personalities will bend in directions you never expected. If you’re lucky to find that person that doesn’t sag or have lines then your plastic surgeons bill will be very ugly. If looks were the key you were looking for then over time their personality will make them appear uglier then a duckling. If their personality was incredible then there will be times that it will be awful.
I’m not saying people should settle but they should set realistic goals. Just like G-D accepts us for what we are we should accept our partner with the same expectations. There is always someone prettier, smarter, or more charismatic then the person you are with, at sometime, but remember that special person is your partner because they love you for your good and bad and you should do the same. Loyalty and empathy are more beautiful in a partner then anything Prince or Princess charming can offer you.
