It might look like I have everything but behind this smile and makeup I’m damaged goods.  I hide it well through many an activity which keeps me busy enough so the damage is way below the “surface” but waiting to explode once the motion is stopped. Pain, suffering, hurt is something that is in my corner even though you may never see it until it’s too late to escape for M-E and maybe even Y-O-U.

FOOTNOTE-  We all have been damaged by things in our life’s it’s just the amount we let out or keep deep inside.

I’m time obsessed partly because of the world I live in and the one which lives in M-E.  With limited time on the clock I try to get as much done between 9-5 and make sure that cycle continues way after the clock has broken. It’s too the point that watching a .30 second video can feel wasted unless something is gained with the experience. There was a time I could watch a ballgame on the tube now it’s the last few moments unless it’s in the “super category”.  Time obsession has taken M-E to end arguments before I get in any words and let M-E forget about things I should honestly be thinking about.  Yet time is a ticking and I don’t want it to stop before….

Whether one works like a dog or it’s scene later it feels good for one’s earned it. I’ve always been one who believes things given make someone feel obligated while those given allow one to feel free.  For, you’ve earned this “reward” because of the challenge you had to endure to get there and nobody can take that away. It doesn’t have to be bold and big just doing something that your lazy side doesn’t want you to do.  Earn it and the joy of the reward will smell owe so much better.

It’s been many a year but he’s still got it!! Justin Bieber “Daisies” shows he still got the vibe running through his veins.  His voice holds true and the song is as catchy as a “baby” smiling.  “Daisies” worth a look, smell and now a listen.

I’m just your towel so why think anymore about M-E!! Well maybe because many other’s like Y-O-U had made a great deal of effort for M-E to wrapped around your body including those in design, marketing, manufacturing and distribution. Oh well those factors don’t count when grabbing M-E well then how about all the fibers of cotton and other fibers that must come together to hold you so tight.  Ignoring that as well, then think of those before who wore M-E, well maybe not that I don’t want you to get triggered or something. Can we at least talk about our history together and how I got you out of that cold shower huh?  How about the smoothness, color and style that I wrap you around in does that matter at least? Maybe the history of towels can help?  All I ask is that before you toss me to the side again please be a bit more mindful of M-E and hold me a moment longer.

There might be a stronger connection between those who traditionally follow Judaism and those that are strict environmentalist.  Here are just a few observations (below).

(1) Those who are traditional drive the maximum of  6 days a week in observation of Shabbos and other holidays.  Walking is there means of travel much more then most.

(2) Traditional Jews don’t eat Milk and Meat together so there carbon footprint is lower at many a dinner table.

(3) These individuals tend to have larger families so that owning an extra carbon burning summer house is not possible.

(4) Tu BiShvat is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the environment and was formulated way before this modern green movement.

He’s the creep that continues to haunt us all. Even though his time has passed and he’s marking it in the hot spot his acts have left marks that stained many forever. Hopefully the release of the grand jury testimony will allow his ghost not to appear in many a pundit and liberal provocateur sound bite but I fear that this won’t be enough. For evil leaves a stain that isn’t easily wiped away for the victims and those who seek to profit from them.

Coke is going to bring sugar not corn syrup back into it’s US formula and that is something to smile about. Coke with pure sugar  tastes better so much so that it sells out during Passover and is my favorite import from Mexico.  Yes, it’s still sugar but at least it’s not the kind which has that over processed formula of corn syrup. So have a Coke and a smile though not too much or you’ll get a cavity.

It’s what you do with your “boredom” that truly counts. For, no matter how fast that clock is running their are moments where boredom seeps in and when that occurs how fast can you turn to your “do it list”.  On that list can be papers you truly needed to file even if it’s at the dump, finally starting the book, or a breathing exercise that just requires you to exist. On the other hand boredom can be the cause of doing something one would never do if they weren’t for good or for evil.  Boredom hits everyone’s door yet how we deal with determines whether we deserve an award or a cell.

I’m so proud of Y-O-U!!  You probably haven’t heard from loved ones which sometimes make you feel they’re just ones so let me say it to Y-O-U.  For, all the hard work you’ve done, frustration you had to deal with to achieve what you’ve done you deserve at least a tap on the back. Whether it be taking out the garbage without being told, going to make the donuts day after day, figuring out something that was supposedly passed your pay grade or putting in the extra moment please take a moment and accept my congrats.  Dad might have forgot to say it enough but look in this mirror and know someone else does.
