Philosophy

In this 2016 election there is a movement not to vote at all.  For many that might go against what many of our greatest men and woman died for our right to vote but didn’t they also die so we have the right not to vote at all.  If we are so disgusted with the choices in this election that we want to make a true statement then maybe not voting is another option to choose.  Of course you can write in me or vote third party but isn’t that basically a No vote as well for the chance these candidates have is simply next to nil.  In all honesty I will be holding 1/2 my nose and voting for Donald Trump but the way things are going that no vote is getting more appealing day by day.

It appears as if the castle is crumbling but they have a house to crumble into. Isn’t it ironic that some of the most unhappy/worried people are those who appear to have it all while those who truly live day to day actually live.  Sometimes it’s not what you have but how you deal with it that truly count. Does that drop of rain on your parade dash the whole event or is there a peak of sunshine through the storm.  Wealth may not be just what one possesses but what possesses you.  If you can find a whole box of joy in a cardboard box while other’s search through an entire mansion I wonder who is truly wealthier.

Are religious institution supposed to take these least among us and give them hope and direction or can they ban individuals who are causing a serious disturbance to others?  What kind of disturbance should such institutions accept in their attempt to help those who are lost and need to be found? It appears obvious that those who cause serious disruption by words or actions must not be allowed to attend those institutions but where does the line between protection and censorship begin?  It is difficult line to weave that must be clear to all those present whether in spoken words or because of standards of decorum.  Those that violate such protocol though should be given a 2nd or even 3rd chance depending on the degree of their outburst and the treatment they seek outside such institutions. Maybe they can’t be present for the “main service” but a clergy member can reach out and give them guidance instead.  For when religious institutions such as Church’s, Synagogues, & Mosque’s are permanently closed to the lost soul then only darkness, destruction and even death may open instead.

   Whatever makes you happy is my new mantra.  Instead of worrying whether someone takes the right path I will just offer one and not think twice if they go the other way.  Like this blog I’ve offered some great and probably even not such great business/film/political proposals that I would actually help financial get started but it’s your choice to see whether you’ll walk in one of these directions or take a different route. I’ve decided to take this response after a possible supplier was deciding whether it was worth selling our company my response you guessed it “whatever makes you happy”.  This statement allows me to feel free in knowing that my goal isn’t about personal aggrandizing but more significantly happiness of the recipient. Don’t get me wrong I would love to achieve more but not at the point of pushing someone out the window that doesn’t want to fly.   Of course I will push ideas that deal with health and safety but other then that it’s all smiley face.

I don’t believe there was any knockout punch during the 1st Presidential Debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump but a few good upper cuts.  It also appears that the majority of those in either camp will probably stay in their respective camps after the debate performance but what about the “undecided? Here’s a few takeaways (below) that I believe might influence their vote.

PRESIDENTIAL-  Both candidates appeared Presidential and with the attacks on Donald Trump’s “character”for the office that has to favor Donald.  + D

REHEARSED- Hillary Clinton appeared less stiff in this performance then one would have expected although her smile appeared to be made from a 2×4.  +C

LINES THAT STICK-  After a good nights sleep (well maybe just some sleep) I recalled lines that stood out from both sides yet the one line that keeps repeating in my mind is “she has experience bad experience). Slight lead to the Trump +D

EMAIL SCANDAL-  This was a total victory to Hillary although Donald did have one strong attack but one just wasn’t enough +C

MODERATOR BIAS-  There was an obvious bias to Hillary Clinton as the two most personal attacks were set against Donald Trump. Donald Trump took to much time on the birther issue and his taxes without switching the debate topic. Yet his attack back on Lester Holt was fairly persuasive. DRAW-
