You feel cold but is that from the weather or is there a deeper cause? Could your feeling of coldness be a feeling of loneliness or betrayal? Before you tell someone what they might have “done” to you maybe you should explore the feelings that you have had before and after and how that relates to those feelings now. For know person can deny that your feelings are wrong and maybe by bringing up those feelings you’ll find who your true friends or whether you are truly standing in the cold.
It was done just at the right moment showing a softer side to Ted Cruz with his family alongside as he went on CNN Anderson Cooper. Heidi Cruz showed how she could easily take over Senator Cruz’s at least as an Orator with great business skills. Catherine & Caroline Cruz helped demonstrate the family that is often over looked when someone put their families feet in the Presidential race. At the end you came across finding a more authentic Ted Cruz that sometimes can get lost with his preachy style stump speech. It’s probably not enough to close the gap in NY but it could help gain him the nomination and the Presidency if his team continues this type of format throughout the rest of the race.
Yes I know it’s crazy but I’m defending you. Justice is justice whether it be black/white or even Hillary and a joke is a joke. Of course if the joke was made by someone with an Elephant on his sleeve it would have been broadcast as if the world ended but it still shouldn’t be even a story for the Hillary Campaign. Mayor de’Blasio’s joke might have been inappropriate but that’s what humor is for G-D’s sake The P.C police need to take a break from politics and let us all laugh instead… yes even Hillary.
Who has time to reminisce when the future is just around the corner? Once in awhile it’s nice to think of an old memory especially if it inspires you to move ahead but looking back for too long can keep you holding onto a memory instead of creating a new one. Maybe as you get more then a touch of grey and the joints start squeaking then your reflections can take you to a brighter place. Yet even in those times I think I’d still rather get some hair dye and human WD40 while looking toward a sea of new opportunities.
One of the most persuasive arguments a Donald Trump supporter will give you is that he’ll hire that right people to finally get things done in Washington but the Colorado Republican Primary results show the difference between words and actions. For there is a different set of people utilized to get a building built then fight a political battle and in that front even the staunchest Donald Trump fan must see that Senator Cruz has this advantage. Whether you like the way Colorado picked it’s delegates or not (I don’t) it was a decision made many years ago and the playbook for each state was given to each candidate to plot their campaign before it all began. Donald Trump failed to implement a plan to gather these delegates to his camp while Ted Cruz had a plan that worked and is working in other states as well. We need a candidate who can get things done in the political arena in Washington and results not speech’s matter. Therefore after Colorado Presidential Primary your vote should be shooting to a Cruz.
Ted Cruz has brilliantly played the Republican Presidential race and he might be moving to Checkmate before your eyes. When other candidates fiercely attacked Donald Trump he waited and watched on the side as they fell one by one only to launch an attack when the field was clear. While his opponents spent all their time worrying about an upcoming primary he and his team collected delegates behind the scenes. Even though many political pundits have said his remark degrading “NY Values” hurt him badly don’t discount the political points it has scored all across the country and even in sections of NY that feel portrayed by the likes of Governor Cuomo and Mayor Blasio. He has built a political machine that is knocking many T’s along the way. Ted Cruz might be living up to his name going straight toward the White House with a bang very few expected.
If the Republican Convention is unable to nominate a candidate in the first round of voting could General David Petraeus save the day? The General is an outsider who was in charge of the greatest military recovery of our time the Iraqi surge and maybe it would be his time to save this party. Of course his misdemeanor conviction of giving secrets to a reporter he was having an affair with, would be a problem but can we seriously compare that blemish with the scandals the Clinton’s have got into? There would have to be a full vetting of his political beliefs and ideals to see whether they mix with the conservative message but if all else fails we may have to call this General to save the day and the party.
There is a path for John Kasich to become the Republican nominee for President and it is called momentum. Governor Kasich must come out with some innovative solutions such as a cure for Cancer, ending traffic as we know it, finding ways to end the governmental monopoly (found on this blog as well as other sources) and start presenting them wherever they will listen. These innovative solutions should give him enough momentum to come in a close 2nd in NY and start winning states such as Pennsylvania where the Trump and Cruz campaign aren’t putting many marbles. Kasich needs to stop attacking Cruz but work together to divide the vote so there is no way for Mr. Trump to get within the 1236 delegates he needs to get the Republican nomination. Of course Kasich won’t win the delegate race but by gaining momentum in the closing races and by putting out innovative solutions he will gain the love of the party/ press which will put him on the leading spot during the Republican convention.
FURTHER NOTE- I’m currently supporting Ted Cruz’s campaign for the Republican nomination for President but am not glued to this view.
If I ran Ted Cruz’s NY campaign I would have agreed to his visit to the Matzah Factory but that would have been only one stop along his NY journey to victory (or close to it). Here are several of the other stops I’d be making. Please feel free to share with the Cruz campaign.
(1) Buffalo NY – Anchor Bar- for some of their world famous Chicken Wings. Visit some of the closed factories and make a statement how Liberal NY political values close this place down.
(2) Syracuse NY- Catch one of the Orangeman/woman big games.
(3) Go to Carnegie Deli and have one of their Pastrami Sandwiches and knishes. Make a joke how this might go against former Mayor Bloomberg’s NY Values.
(4) Take a horse and Buggy ride in Central Park drinking a Seven 11 32 oz Slurpy and state how this goes against the current and former Mayor’s values.
(5) Visit Rockland Bakery and talk to the owners on how the new $15 minimum wage is going to hurt opportunities for the disadvantaged.
(6) Walk through MOMA or Guggenheim museum for a time of reflection.
(7) Visit a minor league baseball game in upstate NY and drink a beer and hot dog.
(8) Have a slice of Di Fara’s Pizza in Bkyln and don’t use a fork or knife.
Even the Trumpster must admit last night was a huge win for Ted Cruz. For not only did he gain most of the delegates in the Wisconsin Republican Presidential Race (33 Cruz to 3 Trump) but he gained something more huge momentum. I’m not saying it will be enough to pull in a NY win but it might be enough to make it appear so. This would give Cruz the guided force to pull out a victory in states such as Pennsylvania and even California. Of coarse Ted will have to appear more warm and fuzzy to the moderate forces in such states but after Wisconsin victory you can taste… I mean see the holes building in the Trumps campaign and Cruz might just have enough missile power to push through to victory all the way to the White House.
