Radical Acceptance

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

I accept that I feel abandoned and because of that often put more in the story then actually occurs. For when someone doesn’t call me back right away I believe they have left me instead of just the fact they didn’t call.  Radical acceptance means accepting your true image hidden deeper in the mirror then the one you normally look at.

Knowing It Can Never….

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Knowing it can never be frees oneself to just “be”.  There is no hidden agenda that one has to worry about since there is no possibility that it could work. Therefore the true honest person is revealed and sometimes that never be actually becomes a reality nobody ever expected.

Boy Is Crying

That boy has cried every morning as I fear eventually he’ll be a dinner and we will only fine the bones.  Yes, there are problems but the clock has gone past twelve and keeps running.  Yet every time you he cries with anxiety makes it less likely we will respond when the bites have begun.  Things are rough out there so try to be a bit rougher inside otherwise both will be eaten and nobody will know till it’s too late.

Out & In

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

In June I may pretend to come out of the closet so finally people will be proud of M-E!  All the hard work, accomplishments, generosity etc etc doesn’t receive as many accolades as saying I’ve “changed” one behavior so what the heck. Even if it’s not real at least the applause will be and I’ll be part of the “cool crowd” finally. I’m a good actor and can even pretend to cry if the applause will continue to come my way.    I can then go back to change my mind in July and return next June if my self confidence needs a boost. Who knew making people proud of M-E would be so easy. Stupid M-E I  actually  I  had to work for it.

Hims- Not Mine

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Hims/Hers Prescription drugs is not mine after the CEO supports antisemitic attacks. Andrew Dudhum called the protestors on college campus brave even though many attacked individuals of the Jewish faith and screamed antisemitic chants.  Andrew, this is gang violence not acts of morale courage and for a business person to stand up and say he would hire such thugs does a disservice to all the hard working people who work at your firm. Too bad they will be the one’s who suffer instead of Y-O-U  as people from my faith and decent people from all walks of life walk away from your company to find one that stands up for what is right and decent instead.

Hill

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Where is your hill to die on?  Are you drawn to protecting G-D given constitutional rights for those in your sphere and/or try to add it the world map? Could your fight be to eliminate modern day slavery that entraps 49 million people? Maybe it’s to truly help those who are dying in our streets from untreated mental health issues? There are many hills to die on and some that appears to be just piles to others. So why the hell would so many “educated” please  let there hill be defending a terrorist organization that has taken so many innocent lives and continues to keep hostages. This is an organization that hides behind children and the infirmed to continue their evil operation.  This organization allows no free expression and would throw many of their supporters in the United States off there buildings if they had a chance.  You only have one life to live let it be to defend the right no matter the might.

Bread Time!!!!

Me and my tribe might have been a quiet for this (above) was missing in our life. Yet now that Passover/Pesach is nearly over (depending on ones clock and rabbi) just watch how the leavened will bring a new rise to our step.  Our bellies will soon be full with the good stuff and G-D willing we can bring more of that to the world as well.

Okay Is Fine

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Sometimes “okay” is just fine. When one is trying to concentrate do they really want to hear a song that takes them away or just keeps them going?  While often a great podcast can have your trip end up in a whole different direction and okay will get you exactly where you need to be. Therefore  great is what one wants when there is nothing else in front or behind them but okay works as great background in your busy life. So thank you to the many artists for not being great but being good enough to help me get through my normal day.
