When engaging in a conversation with others maybe start with their headlines. These are the stories in one’s head that their neurons keep pointing to. Comparing your headlines with theirs is another story as well. Here are few breaking stories that have me thinking.

1. Wildfires In California– When will they get under control
2. Riverbay Bid- Will I remember to get it done it done in time
3. Inauguration-  Am I utilizing my contacts to make the most of this trip to DC
4. Garbage Inauguration/Birthday Party-  What is the current status of the party and how can I make it the most F-U-N possible
5. Trump Conviction-  How sad is it that the President was convicted for a crime that most don’t even understand what it is?

This wildfire disaster in California should end now by utilizing the true force that can bring it down.  The U.S Military should be flying 24/7 dumping water and fire retardant chemicals on areas in the zone of these horrific fires.  Special forces should be on the ground knocking down any underbrush that could continue the spread and treating the surrounding around to eliminate further penetration. In other words when such a disaster occurs the full force of the government should be utilized to quickly eliminate the threat to life and property as well as an immediate thorough investigation on what actually went wrong.

You make your reality. Don’t get me wrong s*** happens but you can enjoy the flush or sit there and just look at it.  Here’s a few more examples (below) on this mind set.

1. Temperature 32 degrees.  It’s the coldest day ever.  Well it could have been 30 degrees.
2. Debt Problems.   I’m never going to get out of this mess.  Every sale gets me closer to that goal.
3. Alone-  Nobody likes me and nobody cares. I’m going to enjoy this quiet time doing the things that only I can truly enjoy alone like reading, writing and listening to that song with no interruptions along the way.
4. Flu-    I’m never going to get better.  Hey, my nose isn’t running as bad as yesterday and thank G-D I don’t have a Pneumonia.
5. Dying –   What was the point of this existence for soon I’ll just be a bunch of bones that know one will ever remember?  I’ve lived longer then many and enjoyed so much soon I’ll be with the ones that left before me and find eternal peace forever.

You have it all but see nothing. While others would die to step into your world, most would do almost anything to leave your mindset.  For materials, happiness, love and all the good things people search for are on your doorstep, but you continually step over them into your pain, anger, and hate instead. It’s bizarre because there are so many out there who have so much less but truly have more because their mind takes them to a better place.

Who can make Y-O-U smile about the brand of toilet paper you’ve chosen or inspiring you to “just do it”? Tasting a rainbow wouldn’t occur without them putting that in your mind.  They inspire you to be your own person by  “think different” as the “impossible is nothing”.   Maybe in the end it’s good to find “the happiest place on earth” just “because your worth it”.   For in the end, advertisers sell more then a product/service but help you find happiness when things would otherwise appear just mundane.

I can smile without you as well as laugh and sing. Of course I’d like Y-O-U to be on this journey but I can’t help you get off the darker path you often travel. There are many ways to get off this path whether it be through therapy, mindfulness, medicine, diversion etc but it’s up to Y-O-U to actually take those steps.  For, it’s not my job to make you smile as much I’ve tried to be employed in the endeavor throughout the path.  You, have to choose happiness and letting things go but until then I’m going to laugh, sing and even smile without you.

Everyone gets pissed off, but does it overflow your toilet?  For, as annoying as things and people in life can sometimes be the time wasted speaking and thinking about them is a whole lot worse.  Obsessing on the negative can make one’s frown become glued to their face and mind.  So look at your clock and set a shorter time for anger on as time is ticking way past your happy zone.

It’s a lonely truth “love doesn’t pay the bills”.  You can be heads over heals with someone and become their heel. For, one if the other individual won’t step up maybe you should step out. Of course if you’ve earned your way to the top you can share at this point but for those struggling to make it on their own love can create a dependent co-dependent relationship which truly doesn’t pay.
