For years I was afraid to tell Y-O-U the facts as if they would be a knife to cut me. Yet over time I realized that the knife was already in your hands and the cutting was occurring with eggs that already had cracks.  So, finally I told you the truth and although dozens of eggs were cracked and slashing occurred stitches weren’t needed. As a matter of fact I basically wore no band-aid over night only needing a “pain killer”. Facts might be difficult to say but living in fear doesn’t make them go away.

Suddenly I see light in much darkness.  The crazy thing is the light was present much earlier but I was afraid to get wet and never started searching. Now the light is coming through even as storm clouds could be approaching and this  vision may help so many others around me. G-D willing this light will not be just a glimmer of hope but one that brings peace no matter when the storm actually hits.

After you’ve done what you could have you left a “successor”?  Someone who can carry on your vision and dreams as you enter a higher plateau. Moses had Joshua to continue to walk in his footsteps while he was still walking so he could see where those steps would lead him is there anyone walking near your path? It is hard to give up the mantle to another but one never knows when it will be taken away so maybe start walking with someone before those steps are taken away.

I’m abused and still won’t leave! What am I stupid or just living in a dream of better days? For some reason I believed I could be that superhero that saves you when everyone else has given of hope. I’d pray for some new future even as clouds are arising from all sides.  Yet today even as my powers are slipping away I still stay. If I did this or that differently walked on this eggshell instead of yet they cracked even before I got there. Maybe it’s history, fear of the unknown, stupidity or a combination of the above that has kept me in this abused cycle. All I know is I’m abused and somehow have to stop being the victim.

Imane Khelif is celebrated for beating up woman. Khelif may not have the parts of a man but the hormones and physicality that had him this gender for most of his life. Thank you “Jack Kays” I really needed it this song to escape the painful reality that surrounded me. It helped blow a hole through it if just for the moment and let go off the pain. I know it’s not a cure but an escape that didn’t leave me on the floor or a hospital bed. So thank you Jacks Kays you definitely didn’t “Blow It” in my life.
