Excuse me I’m suffering from vacation withdrawal. Yes, I’ll get to those reports and bids just after a take a moment to breathe in a bit more of this air.  It’s true that everyone’s clock is counting on M-E, but I left mine on the lake mode and it appears it isn’t coming back to soon.  I still see smooth images of that Pina Colado pop up as I’m just about to grab that pen to get started but I promise I’ll get there once I realize it’s not 5 o’clock somewhere.

Y-O-U are the one’s every artist should applaud.  For, without your hands and voices many of us would perform in the dark never knowing if what we see, and feel is heard only in the woods.  Y-O-U gives us the motivation along with the resources that allow us to truly express ourselves. Therefore, from the bottom of my heart to the fingers typing this piece I applaud Y-O-U!!

My work can be exhausting but at least I have the best boss.  I don’t have any actually time off and my salary appears to change on a regular basis yet at least I know it’s exactly what I deserve to the last penny.  This is a salary that continues to pay with all the fringe benefits way, way past my retirement years.  Yet the work is hard and nobody but the boss really understands all I do so it’s great to know that thee is accounting.  This boss might make it a bit harder to communicate with him than others but when it’s done I hope I leave some  permanent marks.

Am I tree?  For I am one who feels they often stand alone.  As this “tree” do you believe I never hears the cold words that are said and is just expected to absorb it all?  Am I tree without acknowledgment of how many times I protected you from a storm and kept you cool during a hot summer day?  Do you feel as if you can crawl all over me and expect me not to break?  How many times can you continue to rip me apart branch by branch and steal the apples I grow without any repercussions or at least acknowledgement?  Yet these branches are getting heavy and when I crack just make sure you’re not even close for even a tree can only take so much.

This has to be the most forgettable Oscars ever as this show skipped my mind and the millions upon millions who used to watch in yesteryear. Accept for a few such as Top Gun Maverick most movies didn’t bring us back to the theatre and as such few connected across our many divides so why did we even think about this award. Plus the whole film industry has gone over the top with political correctness that most just don’t care who wins as it may be more about filling a category than actually talent.  It’s a shame because film is still such a great escape for us all it’s just we are seeing it in much smaller niche groups and don’t particular care what the elites have to say anymore.

This song deserves not only special mention because it’s the longest title I’ve ever seen from a pop song but is just an awesome song. JVKE really knows the art in making music that connects to the listener not only with powerful lyrics but a haunting feeling that sinks the listener deep into the spirit of his emotions of this song. This Is What A Heartbreak Feels Like is what one does feel without feeling bad and that is incredible accomplishment from JVKE.

I shouldn’t be moving in your direction but how can I pull away? I’ve been loyal for so long through the boredom and feel as if I need this one moment of living on the edge. Maybe it’s wrong but can I be blamed for I’ve put up with so much crap and here is someone who really wants to be with now while otherwise it’s another day of basically being ignored and underappreciated. So, the magnet pulls, and I don’t know if I have the power to pull away this time.
