It’s great to be able to express what you achieve or haven’t but knowing how and to whom one is being boastful too is a sign of real class.  Therefore it’s best to listen to others before you make your statement. If you’ve got a new car and your friend can barely afford the subway maybe it’s best to speak to a different friend.  Complaining about getting a B on a paper might seem to be arrogant to those who normally receive a D.  You’re closeness to a friend might get much smaller as you discuss your new office while they have a cubicle. Yet some can be proud of your achievements even if they aren’t close to it themselves so test the water will small pieces of information and gauge their reaction. If it’s hot then continue along that path but if it starts getting cold maybe it’s best to speak to others who might understand where you are coming from. Showing off about the small items  (better water, chocolate, movie saw) might be the bridge that helps you express your feelings with hurting others.

There are certain things that I don’t want to like. Of course I say no to illegal drugs because they’ll waste my $’s and brain away (if not my life). Yet there are also luxurious that I try to refrain from as well.  Yes, if I had a spare million here or there that might change but that doesn’t appear to be rolling in so here’s my list (below).

(1) GOOD WINE- I don’t want to develop a taste that will only last a meal while the results will cost me a month or so.

(2)  GERMAN or ITALIAN CARS (except the Pope’s) – These cars are beautiful and might perform well but one nick and your investment went down the drain.

(3)FANCY RESTAURANTS- I guess for that occasional special day you can slip into one but occasional is the key, otherwise you will be giving up your keys.

(4) EXOTIC AIRPLANE TRAVEL- An occasional trip is fun but when you think about the expense from here to there a ship or car seems to make a great deal more sense.

I didn’t want to like it but I loved it instead! Why G-D why do you allow such evil to exist? It is the question that was asked during the Holocaust and is asked today with evil such as ISIS? Many in the faith community believe G-D provides the solution before he creates the problem. I was told by one such such individual that Israel wouldn’t exist without the Holocaust and the sad truth is he has a point. Yet did it really need to take the death of destruction of millions to achieve this goal? I say no!  When evil arises we need to unite as one to destroy it right from the beginning and not give it time to fester and kill more innocents whatever it takes.

The Holocaust provided the conditions for the reestablishment of the Jewish state and ISIS will provide the condition for the end of the acceptance of terrorism by any nation or faith. Where in the past some would accept it if it occurred in a different region or religion ISIS will demonstrate that it’s unacceptable anywhere to any innocent people. Tolerance for such evil will be wiped out of all books. The only question is how many innocent deaths will have to occur before we take the needed steps so G-D’s solution is realized?

It is not enough to say that we are trying to bring faiths together to promote peace and harmony instead they must start walking together through FAITH FELLOWSHIP CENTERS.  These centers would be in large and small communities around the country/world  and would be geared to take the offense in promoting harmony and peace within the faith community. Their core belief’s would be that the individual must have the freedom to decide to leave or stay in one’s faith without pressure from the sword of government or religious institution.  We might belief that our faith is the correct path but will tolerate and try to understand those of different faiths with peace and that violence against the innocent is totally unjustified.  Here are some of the tactics (below) that they would use.

(1) BREAKFAST-  It might be difficult to find the food that is acceptable to all but even if it’s a glass of bread and water it’s a start.

(2)EDUCATION & DISCUSSION- We may have differences in our histories but we should listen to how we derived those differences and seek to find common ground to live under.

(3)BOILING POINT- It is important to have a place that tries to alleviate strong differences before those differences result in heat that separates us all and can produce violent reactions.

How long does it take for generosity to become expected or even feared? I have an individual who started bringing my coffee every morning just because he was generous. Initially I was excited that this occurred but then I sorta expected it and when he didn’t show up I was disappointed with him . Once he returned to this generous act  I started to wonder what he expected in return? What happens if he wanted reciprocity that I couldn’t fulfill would my coffee trail run dry? Why is he being so nice in the first place could he be setting me up as if I was a Turkey for Thanksgiving?  I know he is a good generous person that is what is motivating him …. unless one day?

It appears as if you’ve known them all your life although you’ve just met a moment ago while the one you’re with appears from a distance. Why does it sometimes appear that the one who is closest to you on a regular basis appears distant while the person you just meet has a connection that appears has been there for years?

I believe it’s sometimes the “new factor” where a new angle opens up that provides an initial closeness you won’t find in the other relationship. Maybe it’s the off topic conversations you have with a stranger because there’s nothing to lose, while you’re intimidated to gauge the reaction or lack thereof with the other because of past experiences. A fresh face or smile can also make you see an initial brightness that was closed to your eyes from someone who has done this for years. Whatever the reason be careful because just as tusk come together initially they can be pulled apart just as quickly and if they do it can hurt more then you would expect.

G-D forbid a family member of yours committed a hideous act you would want to blame something else that caused your loved one to act in such a bizarre way.  You would get some relief to discover that your loved one, although far from innocent, might have committed this act because he was being manipulated by an evil dark force that your nation should fight. Finally you would be that person who would commit to such a fight to stop others from losing their family members especially if this evil was called in your faith. Yet for some bizarre reason Syed Farook family didn’t want to put some of the blame for his despicable actions in San Bernardino on extreme Islamic Terrorists elements. Usually in my blog I come up with some answers but this one doesn’t make sense… unless there is something deeper that their hiding.
