As an observant Jewish man I want to state unequivocally that I love my Christian brothers and sisters for some reasons that most Jews would agree with me on (1) and for other reasons that many Jews would disagree with me on (definitely 5) . Here are a just a few reasons (see below)
(1) Support of Israel. Christians have been some of the most vocal and financial supporters of Israel.
(2) Open support for strong moral values. Christians have not been afraid to stand up for the traditional values (that I hold dear) in the public square, even when faced with ridicule or harassment.
(3) Charity- Christians have started and support some of the most successful charities in helping those in need.
(4) Great Entertainment- From X-Mas Songs to “It’s A Wonderful Life”. Come on you have to admit they touch at your heartstrings.
(5) Trying to convert me- Although I love my faith and believe it is the true path I still appreciate those willing to try “save me” because they love me and feel that their path will bring me the truth. In other words I don’t agree with the message but love the messenger for still caring.
