Donald’s Achille’s Heel

Donald Trump

Those who are running against “Donald Trump” must not make a direct hit but hit him kindness and a small nick that can grow larger.  A question that makes him feel the compliment but not the deeper wound. Here’s how I might phrase it (below).

(1) If tomorrow I wanted to build a skyscraper as great as one of yours I’m sure you would say it was unrealistic because of my lack of knowledge and experience correct?

FOLLOW UP

(2) Are you familiar with the various types of filibusters that Congress can use to stop the types of legislation that you want to bring up and how would you deal with them.

(3) What type of Executive Orders would you keep from President Obama’s Administration?

Ohio will legalize Marijuana

Ohio legalize weed

Ohio will legalize weed today  as the rest of the country will follow suit and the big mover will be large business who will spend enormous amounts of money in this pursuit.  These businesses are concerned with the bottom line and weed adds  much to the revenue stream even if it causes permanent harm to many of it’s users.  The truth is it’s an individual choice and it’s best if it’s legalized/taxed but no make mistake pot harms one’s brain,  as a consequence this day is not to be celebrated with lighting up but the ashes it brings to our society as a whole.

Death Penalty Yes and No

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy - No Comments

death penalty

The death penalty needs to be enforced for those who commit the most heinous acts but only after we are confident of the individuals guilt through careful evaluation. Those who commit murder or violently rape individuals act as animals that need to be put down for the good of society as a whole. Yet we must insure that society isn’t acting in a mob motility and putting an innocent person to death. Here are the steps and facts that need to occur before the strictest of penalties is deemed necessary.

(1) Automatic Appeal– Death Penalty cases must have an automatic appeal to make sure no mistakes in evidence were left out and to make sure the case was performed justly.

(2) Eye Witnesses- There  must be at least two eye witnesses that can prove the individual was at the scene of the crime.

(3) DNA Evidence– Adequate scientific DNA evidence must be found at the crime scene.

(4) Motive- A clear motive must be established for said crime.

See Saw of Presidential Politics

See Saw

It would be great if we had that one candidate who believed in our values completely and still had the best chance to win but unfortunately the “political see saw” exists instead. Where a person might have to decide to support a candidate who isn’t sharing their entire philosophy because this candidate is more likely to win then the one they truly desire.  it is the issue of settling and if and when we should make this balance or even consider sitting on the side?  Settling is never easy but the key is to find the basic values that are unmovable in your heart and soul, then determine whether this candidate or office can truly have an impact on those values in your location.  Depending on how you determine location and the significance of these values will help you to determine whether you should move the balance beam or leave it alone.

Hit in the face- How many times

hit in face

How many punches can you take before you get knocked out?  This is truly life’s lesson for we will take hits either in our medical, financial, love life or a combination of the above that will take the wind out of us.  Will we continue to fight the battle or fall down for the count?  How much can we absorb before our corner is ready to throw the white flag?  Eventually those punches will be too much for even the strongest and we will enter (G-D willing) the heavenly ring but until that moment be prepared for the fight because it can come at anytime and keeping our legs vertical, no matter how wobbly they might feel, is our only option .

Use the OCB Excuse

feeling guilty

The next time others start to blame you and guilt resides in your heart use the OCB excuse and you’ll just fine.  The key is to kind find which President those that are blaming you support. If it’s Bill Clinton you can of course say well at least I didn’t sleep with an 18 year old intern in the White House and lie to a court about it.  I’m even bi-partisan, for I’m sure my friends from the left can tell me all the mistakes George W Bush made including sending us to a war based on dismantling nuclear weapons and counting those weapons as O.  Hillary Clinton has Benghazi mistakes written all over her and President Obama wow can make a sinner a saint.  The OCB excuse works all the time and should get you out of almost any guilty jamb for if the President’s did worse how bad could you be.  Now if only G-D would allow that excuse as you try to walk up.

Defeating Hillary Clinton & # 3

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Political - No Comments

Benghazi 1

15 won’t defeat Hillary Clinton in November but number 3 will.   If a Bernie Sanders, Al Gore or any other prominent liberal candidate decides to run as an independent the Republican’s will take the White House no matter which of the 15 is their nominee.  For when the vote is split between the Democrats and an Independent Liberal the Republican’s can start packing to move into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  While we spend monies fighting each other for the nomination let’s not forget to spend a few dollars and effort secretly to make sure this is accomplished as well.  If we were  Perot in the 1990’s it’s time for the Democrats to be Sanders/Gored today.

No smoke in these lungs.

smoking pot

Here are the reasons (below) that I never smoked pot.

(1) INNOCENT BULLET- I never wanted my monies to go to a drug dealer who could use those monies to purchase a bullet aimed at a innocent bystander.

(2)ILLEGAL- If a product is illegal you never know what other ingredients are added to it and where it came from (parts of body included, in sweat socks) to get to you.

(3)BRAIN- I don’t want to do anything that harms my brain and even has the chance to make me mentally ill.

(4) JOB- I’ve watched friends smoke on a regular basis as if it was a job that they couldn’t miss and instead waste hours of their precious life.

(5) LUNGS-  The only substance I want to put into my lungs is air with plenty of oxygen.

Success without $$$

Success 2

As we watch a billionaire run for the White House and billions being spent on this election cycle I wondered can success be achieved without money? Of course you’re definition of success/accomplishment is what is really the question.  For if we measure success even by educational achievement, charity works, art etc  somebody has to pay for others to achieve their “accomplishments”.  Yet some of the greatest names that have lasted throughout time were not men or women of extraordinary means or deep pockets whether it be Adam, Moses, or Jesus their words and actions lasted way past their existence.

Can we find similar stories of success that weren’t achieved through the spiritual realm and didn’t require monies for their accomplishments? Maybe we don’t have the funds to build a large project but by working on personal goals like (building on the amount of sit up we can do, writing a story that is enjoyed by a loved one, learning something new etc) we can achieve success that makes us truly proud.   Yet even when it becomes more difficult to achieve those goals in our life due to illness or lack thereof  we can still move mountains by giving the motivation and knowledge to others so that they can achieve success.   This knowledge that we were able to help can give us more pride then the dollars that any dollar that reside in our pockets.

Democratic Debate- 1 Stood

Democratic Debate

After watching the Democratic Debate (as much as my stomach and blood pressure allowed me) only one candidate was truly worthy of being on the stage. You might say my judgement is clouded being a Tea Party Conservative but I base my judgement not on issues only on what should be important to all American’s. Here (below) is how I eliminated those on the field and found one one person standing.

(1) ALL THE PEOPLE– A question was raised whether “black life’s matter or all life’s matter”. If you are seeking the Presidency of the United States you will be employed by all the people black, white, yellow and a combination of colors so the obvious answer is all life’s. Martin O’Malley point blank said black life’s.

(2) COMPETENCE- An individual who doesn’t understand the risk of having a private server in their home and using it for personal and business doesn’t have the competence to be President of the United States.  Sorry Hillary.

(3) MADE A MISTAKE- A person who doesn’t have the ability to say they made a mistake and continues to try to defend their actions when they believe that they were wrong is unworthy of this office. Mr. Chaffee needs to leave this stage.

(4) WORLD THREAT– Any candidate who believes the greatest threat our nation is currently facing is Global Warming doesn’t truly comprehend reality. Mr. Sander’s maybe you should run for President of Amsterdam or Denmark instead.

The only Democratic Candidate worthy of any attention therefore is Jim Webb an articulate serious candidate who knows the issues and has some logic defending them.

jim Webb

Although your the best of the Democratic party I’m Sorry Jim but I’ll be standing with the Grand Old Party’s nominee instead because issues matter to me.
