It has always bothered me how the world would perceive the saying of the Jewish people being “chosen” if only they read the story of Joseph first.  Joseph was chosen to lead his people but not without many trials along the path. These trials included being cast as a slave, imprisoned and feeling of betrayal from those closest to him. Is the type of chosen that many would want to encounter? He had to deal with this and still believe in a higher calling. Eventually that calling not only healed his family but in many ways the world as he was able to divert a horrific plaque by listening to the word of G-D.  The Jewish people have suffered like few other people yet through the years plant new seeds for the world. We faced unprovoked missile attacks so built the Iron Dome to protect us and our friends around the world. Developed Watergen  and Drip Irrigation to pull water out of our dry Israel air which today is being shared around many a desert around this globe. Being lost is not a problem anymore as Waze has opened up new highways and byways, along the way. The Jewish people often have been the ones to bear the devastating loses to show the world true evil whether it be the Nazi’s or Hamas today.  For those ignoring history forget it starts with the Jewish people but if allowed to burn this evil engulfs all good people around the world. Yes, being chosen often can have one say G-D you choose someone else the next time. Yet it is a responsibility, burden and duty that we bear being of this tribe.  We are not better than anyone else just different with a mission/obligation that might truly help the world.

Which reality am I living one of the Joneses or one of though Bundy’s? For, I’m not sure which one is my sleeping hours and which is truly a nightmare?  It appears I’m your standard family man half the time than a murderer the other half.  Life it collapsing on different paths as is reality. I’ve seen all different therapist at least I think but with no explanation of this dark path that appears to occur once I close my eyes. The question then becomes am a good man or a monster?

They were against M-E and that is why I’m alone now. Yes, it started out, well didn’t start, by them not saying hello but then I realized how awful a friend they were. I had a map in my head about all the previous slights I just let pass previously even if others couldn’t connect the dots. The most disturbing aspect is the louder I got stating my case the less others connected with M-E.  My repeats were meant to emphasize the point but others couldn’t understand. My “friends” and “family” betrayed M-E as they got annoyed by my window. I even caught them talking behind my back and trying to get me “help” when they are the ones sick.  So, I’m isolated on my own island but at least know one can bother M-E now.

Where one places a grave site will determine who lands on it in the future. Often tombstones are forgotten along the path of life but left in a central area the memories can last many other lifetimes and leave a mark for the tribe they belonged too. Rachel’s tombstone was destine in such a place as it has been central to many in the Jewish tribe for many, many generations. G-D has a reason for everything even messages we understand way after our clock has passed on.

Just a little everyday might be better then the whole all at once. Getting a single may not get you home but still counts as a hit. It’s the consistent small messages that can sneak through and truly make a difference in one’s life. They can build to “Nirvana” and make every step along the path filled with a bits of diamond.  So, maybe slow down and enjoy the bits as it makes that slice taste a whole lot better.

STEVE-  I can’t be!!

CASPER-  You are but look on the bright side you can finally seeing “The Rolling Stones” on stage before they join us.

STEVE-   I’m really dead.

CASPER-  Yes, and there is a lovely community that you’ve joined at least for the time being and think of the bright side you’ll get to do all the things you wanted to do  while you were alive without waiting on line, buying tickets, or worrying about parking.

STEVE-   You mean I can go to the Superbowl?

CASPER-  Not only go but be on the ground level. Yelling whatever the hell you want. Well, maybe not the hell you don’t want to end up there but you get the point.

STEVE-  Wow, maybe this isn’t so bad. Yet I’ll miss my loved ones.

CASPER-  Yes, that sorta sucks but now you can truly have the quality time with them that you always wanted without any work responsibilities although it will be a one way communications at least in most circles.

STEVE-   I guess being a ghost isn’t so bad. I’m going to….

CASPER-  Oops forgot to warn him the clock to the gate opening is moving and right now he’s on the escalator. Heaven floor next stop. Oh well, who’s my next guest to great Henry Kissinger?

Life’s goal in a sentence is reduce the pain increase the gain. In doing so one will lesson the time and strength that they are angry,sad, confused or filled with other negative emotions from any events that have occurred or are occurring in their life. On the positive side they will increase the positive emotions with gaining a higher spiritual calling, filling voids with positive activities, using their G-D given talents to make this world a bit better and having just pain F-U-N.   Increase the gain reduce the pain a sentence worth living by.

Today many a loved one spends countless hours suffering through an illness that could instead be properly treated. Living with untreated mental health conditions causes undue pain to them, those that care most about them and society as a whole. These individuals self treat themselves with illegal drugs, dangerous behaviors and even homelessness.  They may not be at the exact state of suicide or violence but many can see that clock ticking louder and louder.

A  “Mental Health Court” could change this downward spiral.  This court would allow loved ones would petition the court anonymously seeking their loved ones be evaluated and persuaded if need be to receive the care that would make their life’s better.   To insure that this isn’t abused the following safeguards (below) would be put into effect. Isn’t it time to end this unnecessary suffering isn’t it time for a “Mental Health Court”.

(1) Those bringing such anonymous petitions would also need to provide independent factual and/or testimony of other individuals who concur with said sickness.

(2) Individuals receiving evaluations would not have a “permanent record” that this has occurred unless those doing the evaluations deem the individual as hostile to the process.

(3) At least two individuals would be involved in said evaluations and be certified trained individuals.

(4) Immediate treatment options would be available to said recipients.

(5)  Individuals who  bring such an evaluations could be subject to their own evaluations especially if it was a waste of the courts/professionals time and resources.

We keep putting together even as the pieces become more and more shattered. Hoping that this time the glue will last but knowing that there are still sharp edges that bleed through. We’re shattered but as long as we’re both in the puzzle maybe it’s best we keep putting it back together at least until the pieces are lost forever.

“Closure” by I Prevail shows the true vocal talents of the band. Yes, it has a Bring Me A Horizon feel to it but with a softer tone.  “Closure” is just a great song for your “Tuesday” schedule especially when your week is far from this title.
