Cold?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

It’s cold, really?  We would have never guessed that was the case as we somehow managed to get to this place through a magical transporter?  Wow I didn’t know it was cold when the temperature was less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit!    I was just ready to go out and put on some swimming trunks so thank you for telling M-E!   I guess I’ll have to call off my beach day. Telling me it’s cold outside in the middle of the winter in NY is as brilliant as saying it’s hot in the summer and I’m sure I’ll be hearing that 7 months from now.

FOOTNOTE- When someone makes such a remark does that make you feel warmer or make you shiver more?

Garbage?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

I sit here day after day but nobody wants to throw M-E out! There’s nothing in me except for cobwebs yet I lay here in through many a season.  I used to serve a purpose where I was picked up, pulled in and just used but now I’m just forgotten about as I lay by the sidewalk. One hole in the side and I was not needed anymore.  Who am I and why won’t they just throw me out?

Insanity Around

When one’s immediate world is surrounded by loved ones with mental health issues it’s not all bad. Yes, the roller coaster never ends and many of the dips are ow so painful but there might be a few drops in the cup. Here are few of them (below).

(1) PATIENCE-  A person is forced to learn to be more patience when those around them are a bit less steady.

(2) TACTFUL-  Trying not to walk on eggshells allows an individual to become more tactful with the words they are saying.

(3) INDEPENDENCE- When a loved one’s moods can change like the wind one must be able to act alone.

(4) TRUE FRIENDS-   You can easily judge your friends when they don’t judge you and your loved ones.

(5) PRECIOUS MOMENTS-  Peace and happiness are not as consistent in this type of dysfunction so your good moments are held on even closer.

(6) MENTAL STRENGTH-  Those who can deal with loved ones having episodes develop an inner strength that others couldn’t even understand.

(7) HOPE-  We in this world pray and truly hope for a better day and see drops in a cup as a chance that this will grow into a seed of better health soon.

RPC ** E** Business Idea

You save you love M-E but put me in a collar that really doesn’t fit.  Yet, with a RPC Ruff Personalized Collar it will fit like a bone. Just give the Tailor my exact neck and body measurements and my collar will work just right. A matter of fact this collar is guaranteed for life except of course if you get it in my puppy year.  RPC will do the measurements so it fits just right (not too small or too big) allowing me to sigh and bark in relief for a lifetime to come.

This Is Not Kansas

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Hello, Kathy Hochul this is not Kansas but Buffalo therefore cancelling a football game because of snow there is like cancelling a game in Seattle because it’s raining.  I understand safety must matter first yet finding snow in this city is as common as finding a  Bills fan in this town.   Excuse me but the residents of Buffalo don’t need your Nanny State and can decide as adults whether they can go to a game or not. Many of their loyal fans change all their plans to make this game and your authoritarian order has ruined their party.  Kathy it’s time you allow the adult residents of the state the right to make their own decisions instead of pressuring the NFL to cower under your nanny powers.

The Facts??

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

The facts stand in my way so I twist them to fit the reality I feel. Ignoring those that don’t fit in my puzzle and finding one’s from a distant place that are sliced into place. These facts may not fit anyone else’s puzzle but they are easily seen through my neurons and I can’t let them go no matter what the argument might be.   Warning don’t try and find a piece that disrupts my thought process or I’ll start a puzzle with your name on it as well.

FOOTNOTE- Loved ones who suffer from this thought pattern must be reassured first that their pieces could fit but could other pieces work as well? This is their question not your answer.

Hope From… **E**

It was the event of my life and it became a roller coaster. I had picked out a special “MK” dress as I was the keynote speaker at the “Diner” but as I got on a stage I spotted a stain that left my speech with marks that were far deeper. At my lowest moment I ran off the stage and found myself at a desolate beach with an array of sunshine I never expected. Here was this family that barely appeared dressed dancing around at the beach like they found a pot of gold when it was just a fish. A fish they somehow caught from an old worn out net. They saw my tears from a distance and invited me into their world. Their warmth brought me in as I tasted the best fish of my life even as I was raised on Caviar.  This lead me to believe life is what we make out of it not what is actually on our plate or in my case my shirt.
