The words we say and write don’t stop at the person listening or reading them. For in someway they may impact people that we may never see or hear from even in our lifetime. Those words can travel from a slum in India to a house on Pennyslvania Avenue and we might never know how or when they got there. They say there are only 8 degrees of separation between us and anyone else in this planet with words it’s more like 2 1/2.
Who knows if your kind words changed someone’s behavior so that they even saved a life instead of destroying one. Though if I think too much about this concept it could hinder my ability to freely write my thoughts on this blog for the impact can only be magnified by all the people that read it and share it’s contents literally or with their own interuperation for years and years to come. Yet knowing that these are just words we throw out there free’s us up the responsiblity that can occur afterwards or does it really? Maybe having more positive words at impactful times can save us and those near as well as far from us when other words we wish were hidden come out.
