David Spade helped me understand in a deeper sense why individuals use illegal drugs as I listened to him being interviewed on the Howard Stern show. It was what I expected but the way he explained it allowed me to feel the emotional pull that I wasn’t able to comprehend before. Of course it’s the peer pressure of trying to fit in with those “cooler/hipper” then your circle but it’s also the feeling that if they can do it and be successful then why can’t I as well. Maybe it’s even the feeling of being a bit bad and daring that endeavors someone to take this risk or just the stories you can tell if you survive. The question then if this is truly the answer then how can we have these individual come up with different question like ” Is it really worth it?”
