Was it just me or did it appear that the “Golden Globes” used Kirk Douglas more as a prop then a person? Yes, it is important that as we age that we don’t go into hiding but maybe we shouldn’t be on center stage when all our facilities aren’t truly performing as well as they used to. Do they honestly believe that Kirk Douglas wanted his later appearances in life to look like this? Maybe I’m wrong but I believe that he would preferred to be in the audience with loved ones then to be in the spotlight at this time.
