The latest Long Island Railroad Crash (LIRR) has me wondering whether too many life’s are trusted in just one person’s hands? One conductors errors whether accidental or deliberate can result in the injury or death of so many innocent life’s. Maybe additional safe guards should be put in to make sure this individual is up to the challenge every trip or that there is an overseer who can “cut the brakes” in case an error appears to be made. The case can also be made for bus drivers as well and with terrorism continuing to be a problem we need to look into this today not after another tragic accident occurs.
