As a practicing traditional (somewhat) person of the Jewish faith I’ve decided to become an expert on the biblical story of Joseph and that has taken me through a Christian Pastor Charles Swindoll. This Pastor has showed me different ways to view this story and it’s deeper meanings. Pastor Swindoll explores the role of Jacob as a father to Joseph and his other children and brings this into today’s world, where weak father figures have resulted in many of today’s society ills. He looks into the subject of feeling as if you’re a victim and how taking faith in individuals instead of G-D can help you lose faith in both. Me and the Pastor disagree on Jesus relationship to this story but the insight this Christian Preacher brings on this story is eye opening to at least this one man of the Jewish faith.
