Being responsible sorta sucks at least in the short term. So much of the fun happens way after I leave. Doing the work that others don’t makes me busy while others are snoozing. The one that is responsible often doesn’t get credit for being so responsible but instead get an extra pile of responsibilities. Yet in the end it pays for itself as things get done under your watch while others have to wait to see it occur. I just wish the time period was shorter.
