Mass Transit shouldn’t be free but it should be a whole lot more affordable to the working poor. In order for this to occur and still generate revenue for it to be sustainable several modifications listed below must occur. Individuals who have a lower income tax would receive a voucher for discounted fairs that make their life’s a whole lot easier without becoming dependent on any system.
(1) ADVERTISEMENTS- Wall to wall advertisements at stations including video terminals would exist and provide revenue to the system.
(2) SPECIAL BENEFITS- For those with means private rooms before within the mass transit system would allow individuals to enjoy benefits and help offset costs in running the system. This would be similar to a box seat at a sports arena.
(3) FUN DAYS- Individuals can pay to become a licensed performer at mass transit events and reap the benefits (tips for such work).
