Jacob & Esau don’t have the kind of brotherly love one expects to read from the good book but at least we know it’s real. For, envy and jealousy are part of the human condition whether it looks good on paper or not. I’m sorry Jacob but even if more is hidden in the words I didn’t read your actions were a bit troublesome. I know it lead to the path that we’re on now but I wonder if there wasn’t another road. Yes, it’s important to listen to your parent(s) but shouldn’t a higher authority have more of a say? The animosity between the Jewish people and their Arab neighbors might have started here and I just wish we had a time machine to see what else was out there? Who knows on my end that what I do today might be judged the same way in the future. Therefore I ask you not to condemn those who come after but understand the impact it has today.
