The more you push against your comfort zone the stronger you’ll feel and that’s not just physically but mentally as well. If one doesn’t cancel or ghost those that are giving them difficulty but heads on to those that bring resistance they will feel stronger at the end. Of course just like the gym sometimes one needs a trainer (in this case a therapist) to find the right way to get the maximum output before one throws up their weight but resist one must. For, you can’t control what is around you therefore control your strength to deal with it heads on.
