There now have been several school shootings with the same “type of individuals” which could be a coincidence or a pattern that needs to be investigated. Young people who appear to be confused about their sexual identity have acted out in this violent way. Although one must respect a “mature” person’s decision on their own sexual identity I wonder if we are pushing this too far on our youth to their detriment. Young people who are truly trying to find themselves and are a bit confused shouldn’t have to deal with additional pressure from “new lobbyists”. Maybe it’s time we focus more on reading, writing and arithmetic in school instead of what is socially popular at the time instead.
