There is a magic to see a show “live” but could there be major for the big screen as well? For, the big screen leaves less for the imagination but creates backdrops and incredible depth one would never see “live”. You can feel more taken to those lands on the screen rather then even the most incredible set design at a theatre. Yes, live has the magic of an audience enthralled with a performance but note people still clapped at the end of “Wicked”. I guess in the end “live” still has that magic it’s just there is enough to go around to those seeing it through a projector as well.
