The basic human condition of breathing can be a much deeper experience which changes one’s life and perspectives. As G-D has allowed us to breathe in what is good for us and exhale what is bad so should we try to do that with our mind, body and soul. When breathing in take an extra moment to think about all the incredible things around you hold it for just a moment. Then compound that moment with those things that suck in ones life as you exhale them out of your existence or at least the thoughts that hold you back in pain and misery. Increase the length of each breathe so the experience deepens your awareness and strengthens your resolve toward a more peaceful existence. This is breathing with a purpose the type that I believe G-D wants us to do as it leads to a better path ahead.
