I want to be closer to the one who truly matters the most and make sure the barriers are as limited as possible. The secular world allows me to “eat” nearly anything yet my spiritual world says that some items and mixtures can close the door oh so slightly so I refrain. I’m far from the light but I don’t want the shades to get in the way. G-D is too important in my life so I endure the difference to make sure the barriers between us can be as thin as possible.
