I feel so lucky to be here. Well not actually here but breathing on my own. For other’s I’ve known have already left. I’m lucky to have a reason to want to keep this heart beating ….freedom for my people. While other’s instead look for reasons to cut it short I plead that the bruises and pain I suffer daily don’t take me away before I breathe in that breath with my people. This cell maybe small and isolated but my mind is free to explore a world that these tyrants can’t take away. Someday G-D willing I’ll be free to complain about the limits of freedom but today I’m lucky to be alive and in the fight.
