The O.A is a show that causes your mind to travel outside it’s normal realm. It is if you’re on a psychedelic drug but can turn it off once your viewing ends. Though it has many a rough edge that is not for the very young or prudish at heart it is an artistic journey that one should attempt at least until the beginning of the 2nd season (that’s where I’m at). All the pieces are in place to draw a viewer in (powerful acting, great cinematography, powerful script) and leave them in a whole different place then when they started viewing before. It is like Matrix for a whole new generation except death and life is it’s formula instead.
